Sam's HVAC started in a Dundas Street unit with a used van and a combustion analyser nobody else on the block owned. Sixteen years later the fleet is bigger. The analyser is still the point.
We got tired of cleaning up other people's installs.
Sam spent eight years working for two large GTA contractors before starting this one. The pattern that finally pushed him out was always the same: equipment sized by rule of thumb, commissioned by eye, and sold on a monthly payment.
Homeowners were paying for high-efficiency systems and getting none of the efficiency, because nobody had measured the gas pressure, the temperature rise or the static pressure. The unit ran. The invoice cleared. Nobody checked.
So the rule here from day one has been unglamorous and non-negotiable: if a number matters, measure it, write it down, and give it to the customer. It slows a job by about twenty minutes. It changes the outcome by fifteen years.

Measure, then speak
No diagnosis leaves this company without instrument readings behind it. If we cannot show you the number, we do not make the claim.
No commission selling
Our technicians are not paid a percentage of what they sell you. It is the single biggest structural reason homeowners get upsold in this trade, and we removed it.
Permits, always
Every installation that requires a permit gets one, pulled by us and inspected. A contractor offering to skip it is telling you something important about the rest of the job.
Say the inconvenient thing
Sometimes the honest answer is "that is a filter," or "wait a year," or "we are not the right company for this job." We would rather say it than earn once.
